This morning I took off with Sandra and her cousin Gwen
to visit one of our new favorite shops...
Olde Tyme Marketplace in Marshville, NC.
When Beth's card arrived in the mail a few weeks ago
announcing the Harvest Event I got so excited
to see this great shop all decked out for Fall!
Beth is the Queen of beautiful , vintage, chippy , rusty vignettes.:-)
I knew her shop would be a feast for the eyes....
As soon as we entered the door we were greeted with
her Sweet Smile ,Cider and Cookies...YUM!!!
then...we were off...
to explore all this....
( I took alot of pics...there was so much great stuff to see!!!
get your coffee ( or cider ) and ENJOY....)
This is what you see as soon as you walk in....
This is where I said silently to myself...
" Steady Gurl..keep it together"
Sandra spotted
this great orange coffee can...
it's now in her kitchen...
I found a couple of great pieces too but...
totally shoved the camera back into my bag
to snatch them up...
I'll post on those another time..
this large crown was one piece I really wanted
but I had to choose...so the rusty candleabra won...:-)
this was my FAVORITE spot...
you can't see them in this pic
but the tree branches were full ofsweet little wire birds...
Notice- I say... "were full of sweet little wire birds"
...they were snatched up too!
Bye Bye Birdie!
and I so lusted over this bag....
this huge screen door with the star....so Grand!!
Beth was up early making these adorable pumpkin bowl fillers...
we all had to have a basket full!!
sweet aren't they?
around every corner...more BLISS...
:-) :-) :-)
when we got to this part of the shop...
we were calling out to each other...
" Look at this"...
"Did you see this?"
"OMG!"
I loved all the rusty/chippy pieces &
harvest colors all over the shop
with little twinkle lights...
Great Birdhouses, Wire Baskets, Screens,
Altered Jewelry...
This shop is brimming with great vintage items !!
and then I looked up....
Wow!!
If only I had a spot for a big white birdhouse...
wait...maybe...hummmm....:-)
Beth has a lucious collection of Harvest Wreaths...
and could you just scream right now...
look at this old BARRELL OF LACE!!!!
Yep...we carried several cards of this home
with us too!
Oh Sweet Baby...
Don't you just LOVE where you live? :-)
Cubbies full of tea dyed fabric....
Chippy cabinets full of quilts...
and then...
if all that wasn't enough to make
your heart skip a beat
there was the front porch....
Decorated with old windows, tables, stools & cabinets
that were decked out with Pumpkins, Mums & Pansies....
and this...
Oh Yeah Baby...there it was...
maybe I can fit this right next to the
Big white birdhouse...????
Hummmmm....
Sorry...this pic is a little blurry..I think
my hands were a little shaky-shaky ( LOL )
More and More and More...
Love...Love...Loved it all!
It was a great day!
I know I'll dream about it all tonight....
Sweet Dreams!!!
:-)
We were so inspired by Beth and all her fab-ness!!
(Not one of us could shut up talking about it all the way home!)
Thank You Dear Beth
for providing some great Fall Eye-Candy
for us today...we look forward to seeing you again
really soon!

ReplyDeleteOh~ my~ gosh. I just finally got to do some "computer catch-up" and read your post. I had tears. No kidding, your sweet words had me going for the kleenex. I can't tell you how much I appreciate all your support. I went and got Russ and told him he had to read it and when he got done he just looked at me and was like..."wow...THAT was amazing!"
I am going to post about this so others can see what a beautiful post you did. The time and effort that went into it not to mention the drive to the shop. I just can't thank you enough.
