Apple season is here!

It's Apple season in North Carolina!
 I love apples!
 Eating them, picking them
and making yummy recipes with them.
Like this one from my most favorite place in
the North Carolina mountains--
Asheville...the Grove Park Inn!
If you have never been...you gotta go!
There's so much to see...
the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway

Biltmore Estate

it really is something to see and Fall is the best time!
So back to the recipe...
Here it is...hope you enjoy it!

  10. Oh just found your post and SO glad that I did! We've entered apple season in the UK too and I'm so excited. Having recently moved from London to the English countryside, I'm in the early stages of beginning to experiment with home grown food - and I've 'inherited' several apple trees with my new garden. THANK you for the recipe and the pictures are great. LOVE your blog - feel free to pop accross the Atlantic in 'Blogdom' anytime! xxx
